Participants: 3 participants, 2 male, 1 female.
For these experiments we performed two operations. Both opened and closed with the LRBP, with Psalm 51 as the preliminary invocation.
Experiment 1. The female participant acting as exorcist called upon Furcas (50th spirit) for the purposes of furthering her studies in tarot and astrological symbolism.
Furcas is thus described: “He is a Knight, and appeareth in the Form of a Cruel Old Man with a long Beard and a hoary head, riding upon a pale-coloured Horse, with a Sharp Weapon in his hand. His Office is to teach the Arts of Philosophy, Astrology, Rhetoric, Logic, Cheiromancy, and Pyromancy, in all their parts, and perfectly. He hath under his Power 20 Legions of Spirits.”
It should be noted that in our ignorance, we assumed that divination by card (i.e. tarot) and not in fact, palm reading.
Initially despite repeated invocations, nothing happened until it was realised that the seal of Furcas had not been placed within the triangle. Once this was rectified and invocations resumed, a presence was soon witnessed.
Curiously, prior to the appearance, three animal forms were independently and distinctly seen by two participants: an elephant, a bull and a goat.
(Earlier at the Adornment of the Vestments, one participant made a comment, “It feels like I’m getting ready for some kind of wedding.”)
Participant 2: “I reiterate that the Exorcist exclaimed “Feels like I am going to a wedding today” before Adornments and Adorations of Hyssop.
The first Demon to be called was Furcus and they thought it was about Tarot cards and infact it was meant to be palm reading. The skryer felt the frustration of the Exorcist. Initially despite repeated invocations, nothing happened until it was realised that the seal of Furcus had not been placed within the triangle.
Before all this and prior to the appearance, three animal forms were independently and distinctly seen by two participants: an elephant, a bull and a goat/Ox what ever it was it had horns.
The skryer reported see a Knight on horse back of a white/grey horse in full armour carrying a spear, infront of a lake and a castle could be seen in the back ground and reported seeing a sword coming out of the water with just the hand holding the sword.
Conversation followed between exorcist and scryer. After a little while and some confusion it was ascertained that it was about Tarot cards (in skryers mind) and The card was The Fool. The exorcist realised that the skyer was speaking about the Tarot Card The Fool (and not “a fall”). And asked how they could learn more. Furkas spoke of learning the basics element (earth air fire and water) and Planetary signs how they related to the days of the week. Exorcist asked “how do I find out that information” and Furkas half laughed and said “Google!!” It was at that point the skryer noticed an orange and pale colour cross. The top point and the arms ended in points.”
Participant 3: ” The first demon to be summoned was Furcus in order to learn more about the Thoth tarot (but not for Palm reading) and to understand the relationship between the images on each card and in relation to astrology and the qabalistic Tree of Life. The exorcist read the invocation and there wasn’t anything coming through for the Scryer, until it was realised the seal of Furcas had not been placed in the triangle. Once the seal was placed the Scryer saw a Knight riding a Horse with a weapon in his hand also 2 participants reported seeing an Elephant, Goat and Bull. The exorcist asked Furcas how they could learn about the pictures and symbols on the Thoth Tarot Furcas replied start with the fool and also agreed when summoned by the exorcist to help when they were studying the cards. The exorcist thanked Furcas and then banished.”
For the second experiment, Crocell (49th spirit) was selected. Crocell is described thus, “He appeareth in the Form of an Angel. He is a Duke Great and Strong, speaking something Mystically of Hidden Things. He teacheth the Art of Geometry and the Liberal Sciences. He, at the Command of the Exorcist, will produce Great Noises like the Rushings of many Waters, although there be none. He warmeth Waters, and discovereth Baths. He was of the Order of Potestates, or Powers, before his fall, as he declared unto the King Solomon. He governeth 48 Legions of Spirits.”
Crocell did not appear himself immediately, but instead sent a familiar, in the form that could only be described as resembling a Wookie. This was explained as a “friendly face” to path the way. Crocell himself appeared authoritative, mysterious and dark. In response to The Constraint he stated that he had infinite patience and feared nothing. Cocell spoke with precision and laughed openly at the exorcist’s sometimes vague and mumbling questions.
Participant 2: “The exorcist picked Crokel to help them with learning geometry and other liberal sciences. The demon sent a familiar at first called Wooki!! The Exorcist mumbled his way through a few questions. The Exorcist thenasked how he could move forward in his occult studies and Crokel answered “by your feet” and openly laughed (bastard!) I believe the Exorcist may have laughed. Another question asked was there any dark energies effecting him and the answer was none. Every question they asked Crokel had a answer, a comical one to him. The Exorcist by then was rather muddled during the whole contact.
But the Exorcist seemed calm when Crokel said to call on him when needed and he will send familiars. The Demon spoke and said even God trembles before me!! After Licence to depart when the skyer stood up, a figure was noticed on his back. He was in a very dark blue or even black cloak there was just blackness you see at night instead of a face. In his hand was a light it reminded the Exorcist of The Hermit except the light was like a golden star. Then we banished.”
Participant 3: “The Exorcist chose the Demon Crokel in order to learn about Geometry and Science it didn’t take long for the Scryer to have a familiar appear which they said looked like a Wookie. As the Scryer was in conversation with the Wookie I could see red, green, blue and yellow swirling around the circle it seemed to encompass all in the circle rising up it stayed until the banishing. Crokel appeared on the table to the left of the Scryer and the exorcist asked his questions in a very unassertive way. Crokel seemed to be humouring the exorcist as when asked “how do I move forward with my studies?” Crokel answered “by moving your feet.” The exorcist asked if there was any dark energies around him, Crokel said “no” it seemed to me Crokel was quite mischievous in a nice way and the exorcist wasn’t quite sure what a familiar was. Crokel said he would help him to find his and to just call on him when required. The familiar stayed on even when Crokel left and then we banished. To add as we were able to look at Andy’s tarot cards as a result the ritual and my experience made a lot more sense to me and also helped me understand a bit of how the ritual and Tarot are connected. Fascinating insights thank you.”
